Hyundai i10 Car Features and Models

Hyundai i10 is the product of Hyundai Motor Company. This 5-door hatchback was launched in 2007 October. Hyundai i10 is manufactured at the Hyundai Indian plant in Chennai and exported worldwide but it is not sold in its parental country South Korea. This iconic model is marketed below i20 and Getz and most of the countries it replaces the Hyundai Getz. Known as Inokom i10 in Malaysia, it is a predecessor ofHyundai Atos having FF Layout. Hyundai i10 is available in 9 variants in India, with diesel and petrol engine options. Hyundai i10 provides automatic and manual transmission and is the only model that has automatic transmission in the small car segment.

Some of the notable variants are – Kappa, Asta, Sun Roofed Asta, Era, D-lite, Magna, Magna with Sun-roof optional and Sportz. Hyundai i10price ranges between 4 to 6 lacs and available colors in India are – Alpine Blue, Sleek White, Blushing Red, Champagne Gold, Deep-Ocean Blue, Electric Red, Virtual Yellow, Oyster Grey, Stone Black and Crystal White. This car competes with the Tata Indica, Maruti Wagon R, Nissan Micra, Ford Figo, Fiat Punto and Volkswagen Polo.

Engine and specification:

i10 is available in both petrol and diesel versions with manual and automatic transmission. Wheel-base measures 2380mm and the length, width and height are 3565mm, 1595mm and 1550mm respectively and its kerb weight is 925-1040kg for M/T.
